Ok so Jon only gave me 2 (I’m going to push for 3) paragraphs to tell you all about myself because I’m rather wordy and I have admitted that I am and so we are going to keep it short and sweet. Well i’m going to try. So here it is…
I was born (along with my twin sister Stephanie who now lives in Maine and is a teacher who works with Autistic children) on December 31, 1981 to Amy and Mario Bisol in Worcester Mass. My brother Andrew, (who went to school with Jon at Worcester Polytechnic Institute now lives in Philadelphia and is an engineer) was born 3 years later and we all grew up in Fitchburg. My Mom was a stay at home mom and when I started Kindergarten she became a daycare provider and it was nice coming home to a house full of kids to play house with and run around playing tag with. Mom is now a Preschool Aide at a catholic school. My Father is part owner of Kesseli and Morse Company and sells tile, carpet and bricks commercially and residentially.
When I was a little girl I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. That and Sleeping Beauty (thanks Dad for not letting me legally change my name to Princess Aurora when I was 6!) but I always wanted to work with children like my Mom did.
Since I was 7 I was involved in Soccer and Girl Scouts and was active in the Catholic Church. I went to Bright Beginnings, Goodrich Street School, South Street Elementary, Memorial Middle School and Fitchburg High School where I played Varsity Soccer all 4 years (though we weren’t that good) and during my senior year received my Girl Scout Gold Award as well as a Gold Key in the Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards.
For 2 summers I worked at the YMCA Camp Lowe and after I graduated high school I went to Framingham State College and Majored in Clothing and Textiles (Fashion Design). During my 4 years I was the President of Catholic Campus Ministry, the VP and President of Phi Upsilon Omicron (The Family and Consumer National Honor Society), I worked as a Student Admissions Representative in the Admissions Office as well as a secretary in The Office of the President.
I did my internship in The Boston Ballet Costume Shop and when I graduated they offered me a job in the shop for the summer and then I was hired full time as a seamstress. During my time at the ballet I made lots of tutus and helped build several new shows and did many side projects for The Opry Hotel, Houston Ballet as well as The Santa Fe Opera House. In the summer of 2005 I went to Santa Fe, New Mexico and worked at The Santa Fe Opera House as an apprentice.
In April of 2006 I left the ballet and became a Nanny for 2 little boys in Dedham. In the spring of 2007 I met Jon and I obviously fell in love with him and we started dating, in August I went to Paris (a huge dream of mine for a very long time!) and in December I started working with a new family on Beacon Hill and then in January Jon and I got engaged and so that’s the story from start to finish!
It’s longer than 3 paragraphs but it’s shorter than I thought it was going to be!
