This is probably a naive thought, but…

So medicaid/medicare is one of those exploding costs that will doom us all if left unchecked but the other part of it is that the demographic shift caused by the impending retirement of the boomers will cause the funding to be strained.

So what if people have an option to choose medicare as their insurance plan and pay market-competitive premiums to them? Wouldn’t that go a long way towards easing the problem?
Is this part of someone’s plan somewhere?

I can’t think of anything else right now.

I’d heard of this fancy new Lego Digital Box experience last month and got to try it tonight at the Burlington Mall’s Lego Store.

It doesn’t work with every box but when it does, its really something special.

Here I am checking out a giant prop plane model! On the other side, is the cargo door and loader which was animated as well as a luggage truck, its a pretty slick thing!

As tax season comes upon us, and my head starts to hurt from thinking about the tax implications of “married – filing jointly” and “married – filing separately” as well as the estimated taxes that self employed folks need to file and the impact of being self-employed for only part of the year, the question begs to be asked:

If the United States Secretary of the Treasury, the nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services and the nominee for Chief Performance Officer work in the government and can’t get their taxes right, how in the world and I supposed to?
